(Received May 13, 9.15 p.m.) Telegrams from Williamson, Virginia, report that violent guerilla warfare has broken out in the mining county of Mingo, on the Kentucky border. Striking miners are firing from the mountains on five small towns, the inhabitants of which are panic stricken, ana many have fled. Several were killed or wounded. The State Governor has urgently re quested that Federal trops be sent to quell the disorder, which is the outcome of a feud against prohibition agents.
