From a Squatter’s Diary rr r. fO. m m ■M^S m &t£ Sfa3Rft*2Si 'V: y ■.■ at; BS- ii All Doubt Settled HAD notice from Haphazard Station to say they were mustering on our boundary. Sent Curtis and Jack over to claim strays. Found 239 with ‘V brand. No chance of dispute. Brands too clear, especially compared with Haphazard brands, which were very bad. Must have a talk to Howe, of Haphazard, and tell him about “VACMARK” gS Br " JI "; "'Defies all but the scour” Clear, legible marks obtain with Vacmark branding, and they stand from shear to shear. Vacmark contains neither tar nor tar-oil; will not matt the fleece and washes out in the scour. For applying to cuts Vacmark surpasses tar, being antiseptic and healing with the advantage of not spoiling the fleece. Sold by nil Storekeepers in §, I, and 4 gallon tins, and in 5 gallon drums.
