EXPORT IN 1920 BANNED. The Board of Rice Control of Siam Ikls prohibited the exportation of rice and rice products from Siam during the entire year of 1920, and has stated that there into 1921, according to a recent official is a possibility of extending the embargo report received by the United States Department of Agriculture. The condition of only one-fifth of the total acreage in the six leading rice-producing provinces was favourable. During the five years preceding the war, 1909-1913, Siam exported 1,928,507.000 pounds of rice. During the first years of the war exports of rice increased considerably. f -i
