RETURNED SOLDIERS
CRITICISM OF DEFENCE MINISTER. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 30. At a meeting of the Dominion executive of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association great dissatisfaction was expressed with regard to the results achieved by placing their aims before the Government, and the following motion was carried:—“ That the executive of the New Zealand Returned Association. notice with regret the evident apathy of the Minister of Defence regarding the welfare of returned soldiers, in failing to reply to representations on various argent medical, pension, and other questions which were made to him in December and again on January 14.”
