LUXURIOUS AERIAL LINERS. BRITISH COMBINE’S PROJECT. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australia and NJZ. Cable Association) LONDON, January 29. The Pall Mall Gazette understands that four aviation firms, Vickers, Beardmon, Short t, and Armstrong Whitworth, are forming a combine for the purchase of surplus of Government super-airships for the purpose of establishing regular wacki-wide passenger voyages primarily aimed at Unking up aQ parts of the Empire, The firm experiments will be between. England and Scandinavia and Holland. It;is expected later to accomplish voyages from London in the following tunes; — To New York, 2} days; San Francisco, 4£ days; Cairo, It days; Colombo, 4i days; Perth, 7 days; Nairobi, 2} days, and Capetown, 5J days. The air-liners will be fitted with deeping cabins above (he main saloon, in which the seats will be fitted similar to there in Pullman cars. A smoking-room will also be provided. POU LET'S FLIGHT. NEW AEROPLANE SENT TO RANGOON. LONDON, Januapr 30. A Paris message states that Bedoist (Pernlet’s mechanic) has returned for personal reasons. He declares that he will return to Rangoon and accompany Poulet on the final stage of the flight to Melbourne. The Caudron Company announce that they have despatched a new aeroplane which should reach Rangoon next week.
