At the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s Spring meeting last week (Rothschild (Moneymaker and Emperor I, Harold Dillon (Matty's Boy and Asturio), and Brent 1.0-canda canda (Locanda Junr. and Guynemcr) each sired two winners. The Victorian breeder and sportsman, Mr N. Falkiner, should soon get back the 7300 guineas he expended in the purchase of the stallion Comedy King.. His fee has been raised to 250 guineas and only six outside mares will be taken. These will also have to be booked for two seasons. A return of 3000 guineas for 12 subscriptions is substantial, while Mr Falkiner will also have a number of yearlings for sale. On .Saturday last two happy horsemen were to be met with in A. Pringle and M. Edwards. Both had been out of luck for some time past, but two wins each put the pair on good terms with themselves again.
