POPULAR PICTURE .PALACE.

“The Reckoning Day,” which was preseated last night, and will be shown for the last time to-night, is a most story that rivets the attention throughout, and those who were not present last night should avail themselves of the opportunity of witnessing one of the finest pictures oK the year. At the matinee to-morrow the opening.episode of the big open-air Western serial “The Fighting Trail,” will be screened in conjunction with a full Metro programme headed by Mary Miles Minter in a joyous comedy, “Dimples.” The Fighting Trail is full of intensifying thrills culminating in breathless situations. It is set in a land of dizzy cliffs and yawning chasms, and describes the search for a secret mine of minerals so precious that the fate of the world depends on it. There are splendid supports and patrons would be wise to book their seats ahead. ALBION THEATRE. To-night is the last opportunity patrons will have of witnessing “The Atom” a drama with appeal and humour, and a human touch that can only please and attract. The story is of a little household drudge and a matinee idol and how they found love on the open road. Numerous supports are also screened, including a comedy, “When War Meant. Peace,” American News, a Pathe Interesting entitled “The Bull Thrown,” and the Gaumont Graphic. On Saturday another Goldwyn picture has been secured entitled “The Glorious Adventure,” featuring the winsome and talented actress, Mae Marsh. The story abounds with romance and adventure with a delightful and charming Old World touch about sonic of the scenes that will fascinate with its naivety. Mac Marsh is starred as the little girl and her charm is so great that she makes an old cabman acquainted with a glass of milk for the 'first time for 40 years.
