POLICE CASUALTIES 250. PARIS, May 2. Received May 4, 5.5 p.m. The night passed quietly. There were 250 police wounded, 115 seriously. The civilian casualties are not stated. The crowd used revolvers at several points. One of the crowd was shot dead at the Place de I’Opera. The injuries were chiefly due to sabres, batons and sticks. A meeting of the General Confederation of Labour condemned the Government's action. They meet to-day to consider the situation. The Socialists will interpellate the Government when the Chamber meets.
