THE NORTHERN MAILS. On and after Monday, April 28, the early morning express to Dunedin will not run. Mails for North close at 12.40 p.m. Mails for Offices on Queenstown line beyond Lumsden will close on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 0.30 a.m., and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 6.15 a.m. on and after May 1. Mails for United Kingdom, North and South America, Continent of Europe, etc., close at Chief Cost Office about Friday, May 9, at 12.40 p.m., for despatch by s.s. Makura from Auckland. Mails for Australia close at Chief Post Office about Monday, May 12, for despatch per s.s. Westralia from Bluff. Jj. ST. GEORGE, Chief Postmaster.
