GREEN ISLAND TROUBLE. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, April 30.
A large meeting of Green Island miners was field at Fairfield to-night. The men decided to take no furthe raction till an open conference had been held with the employers to discuss differences between the parties; trucking, filling of one kind of coal at the face and the wages of shift men. It is understood that a number of younger men, who have been working in the mines, are now seeking other employment.
