BRITISH OFFICER’S LONG FLIGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, December 12. Received December 14, 12.45 a.m. Major-General J. M. Salmond has arrived at Karachi (on the N.W. coast of India, near the frontier of Baluchistan) by Hand-ley-Pagc aeroplanes, from Cairo. Five stops were made, including Damascus and Bagdad. The journey was accomplished without a hitch.
