AMERICA CUP RACE TO BE REVIVED. THE CHILI-PERU DISPUTE. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, December 12. The New York Times’s correspondent at Tampico, Mexico, says that Juan Castilian’s oil wells, heretofore the greatest oil producer in the world, are now spouting salt water. The Ulster Yacht Club has challenged the New York Club to race for the America Cup. The United States has offered Chili and Peru its good offices to settle disputes with the object of avoiding war.
