MAXIMUM PRICES OBJECTED TO. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 12. A deputation of fruit retailers interviewed the Attorney - General requesting that the Regulation imposing a maximum retail price of sixpence on New Zealand apples be withdrawn. It was also pointed out that the maximum retail price of onions was 5d per lb, but the wholesale price was running to 7d per lb. , Sir F. H. D. Bell admitted that the dealers had a grievance in regard to apples and onions. He would consult the President of the Board of Trade immediately and have the matter brought before Cabinet as soon as possible.
