CHARGE OF MURDER. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) ADELAIDE, December 12. Received December 12, 7.5 p.m. On, November 22nd a motor driver, Harold Jacques, was engaged to drive a man named Budd to Crystal Brook. Jacques’s, body, with the head battered to pulp, was found on Saturday buried beneath his own car on the premises at Port Pirie where Budd lodged. Budd’s landlady stated that Budd dug the hole stating that he intended clearing the undergear of the motor, but subsequently filled the hole up. The car was bought and the shed erected over the spot. Budd has been arrested on the charge of murdering Jacques. He stated that he bought the car for £3OO.
