PEACE CELEBRATIONS
AUSTRALIA’S BIG PROGRAMME. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) MELBOURNE, December 12. Received December 12, 7.5 p.m. The Federal Government is arranging for three days’ celebrations when peace is proclaimed—a Thanksgiving Day, a Rejoicing Day, and a Children’s Day. The Government is asking the British Government to send a fleet of British and Allied warships, captured warships, and submarines to participate in the celebrations.
