ALLEGED SEDITION

CHARGE AGAINST FARMER. (Per United Press Association.) WAIBOA, September 4. A farmer named P. Rowley was charged with publishing in the bar of the Wairoa Hotel a seditious statement, to wit; “I hope (obscene word) the Huns will come here and beat you and the Massey crowd. The Huns would make as good bosses as Humphrey Bailey.” Owing to the illness of defendant’s counsel the case was adjourned l' for a month on the payment of £IOO to 1 appear on October 9, which was done. 1 ■ ■
