SUBMARINE OPERATIONS.

Received September 3, 8 p.m. It is announced that the American steamer Onega has been torpedoed and sunk. Twenty-six are missing, and the Captain was drowned. FISHING SCHOONERS SUNK. HALIFAX. September 2. Received September 3, 8.50 p.m. Ninety-six survivors from four fishing schooners which were torpedoed have arrived at a Canadian port.
