PETROL V. CARBIDE

The advent of the Petrol Gas has been a boon to the country not only on account of the excellent light that Petrol produces, but on account ol its cheapness. Carbide produces light just as good as Petrol Gas, Put the production of the light is not onlymore troublesome but users say it is far more costly. A circus proprietor who has used carbide for years, and, owing to shortage of rupplies, is now using the Supreme Petrol Gas, says that Carbide cost him 15/- per night when showing, but since he has installed a Petrol plant the cost is only 2/3 per night. S. ANCHOR cfc CO., opp. Times Office, Invercargill, are the local agents for the Supreme Petrol Gas Plant.
