THE DOMINION TOURNAMENT. SEMI-FINALS OF JUNKS. (J'cr United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, January 18. At the Bowling Tournament the rink championship contest was continued. In Section .‘I, Gray (Kelburn i and Casey (Pon.sonby i played off, the latter winning by lb to 1-4. Smollie (Green Island) beta Watts R : 1 and the latter is now out of the finals. In the semi-finals, Wa.Lker (Fonsonbyi met Smith I Otago i and a very even game resulted. Smith went ahead at- the st-art and the game reached Id to 8. Smith stuck on the Devil’s number for live heads, but when Walker had reached 11 scored on. and finally won by 17 to If). t’.asey then mrt Smellie, and had (he best of the play, winning by JO to 15. The pairs competition will be continued to-morrow. Parsons (I‘nn.souhy I and Woolf i United i will meet and the winner v.-ill meet Brown (United i in the semifinal in I,he afternoon. The winner of the latter match meets Harr,away ( Dunedin i in the final.
