DODDS.—-On December 3, 1917, killed in action, somewhere in France, Private W. G. J. Dodds (21st Reinforcements i. Deeply mourned. "He nobly did his duty.”

MANSON. —Killed in action in Franco, on 3rd December, 1918, Andrew Mount Manson, fifth son of the late Donald anil Barbara M anson, late of Kaiwarau F'alls Stat'on, Queenstown; aged 38 vear?.

MULLAN. Died of wounds in F'ranre, on January 1, 1918, Rifleman Charles, dearly beloved second son of Mrs Mullan and the late B'-rnard Mullan, of West Plains. Deeply regretted. Rest in Peace.

WHITKLAW.-At the N.Z. General Hospital, Godford, England, on January 10, 1918, Alexander George, dearly beloved fourth son of Agnes and the late Peter Whitelaw. of Makarewa; in his 36th rear. "He did his duty.”

IN MEMORIAL. STEWART. —In luting memory of Trooper John Stewart (late Kaunas', who departed thi.s life at the 19th General Hospital, Alexandria, on January 17th. 1916, dearly beloved youngest son of Mr and Mrs EU Stewart, Flint’s Bush.
