SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE
A very successful meeting was held in the hall, Wallacetown, last night, when Messrs Ritchie, Burwell, and Meek dealt with the objects of the League and its progress and accomplishments to date. Mr D. Scott presided and the meeting gave the speakers a most attentive and sympathetic bearing. The following resolution was carried unanimously : “That this meeting of residents of Wallacetown and district expresses its entire approval of the aims and objects of the Second Division League and that it will do all in its power to further the growth of the Leagtie in this district.” The following were elected a committee; —Mr Williams (chairman), Mr W. A. Gray (secretaryl, Mrs Lachlan Gray, Mrs Jolly, Miss Margaret Gray, Miss Isabella Gray, Miss Henrietta Gray, Miss Maria McGearty, Mr Joseph Kerr, Mr Fred Stevens, Mr Chas. McGearty, Mr Samuel Dagg, Mr Colin Gray, Mr John Kynaston, Mr Geo. Gray, Mr John Scott, Mr W. L. Gray, Mr M. D. Riddle, Mr Harry King, and Mr D. Scott.
