There were no shipping movements at this port yesterday. ■ The coastal steamer Kotare arrived at Dunedin on Wednesday from Timara, and sailed yesterday for Invercargill and Riverton. The Lnckenbach Steamship Line (says an Australian exchange) evidently intends making a firm, effort to play a big part in the trade between America and Hew Zealand and Australian ports, judging by- news received at Sydney. The information is to the effect that orders for no teas than 11 vessels have already been placed with prominent American shipbuilding Arms, and the whole lot will he turned out before the end of 1918. Some of the craft will be of 15,000 tons register, and the whole lot will be of high speed and well provided for in the ■way of modern facilities for ali purposes, but especially the prompt and expeditious . handling of all lines of cargo. The names for the 11 vessels have not yet been allotted, excepting in the case of the first three, which will bo ready for service by the end of the year at. latest. The first of this trio will be known as the K. I. Luckenbach, the second M. B. Luckenbach, and third and largest Walter E. Luckenbach. ' THE WEATHER. SUMMARY AND FORECAST. K2SOSA SOAP GIVES NATURAL BBAX7TZ TO SKIN AVS BAIR. That natural beauty of skin and hair Which cannot be imitated, can be obfp+nerf by regular use of Rexona Skin and Facial Soap. Ordinary Toilet Soaps go not assert this influence. Many of them contain free alkali, which tends to dry the skin, and destroy its delicate texture. Even the best of such soaps can only cleanse; they cannot heal and protect the skin. Rexona Soap contains the same soothing, healing, antiseptic balsams as Rexona, the Rapid Healer, the value of which in the treatment pf girin affections is known throughout the world. Simply use Rexona Skin and Facial Soap regularly once or twice a day, and see it it does not quickly soothe and cleanse the pores, lessen the tendency to pimples, and leaves the complexion clear, fresh, and velvety.
