Received April 26, 10.5 p.m. During the running of the Hurdle Race at City Tattersall’s races to-day the New Zealand-bred gelding Rongopal, by Conqueror—Punawal, fell and broke his neck. Death was instantaneous. The rider, J. Clifton, was injured. It is reported that the four-year-old bay horse Cetlgne, by Grafton—Pretty Nell, has been sold for 1500 guineas. He v s a good winner as a Juvenile, and during his three-year-old career accounted for the Rosehlll Guineas, Hawkesbury Guineas, A..1.C. Derby, Clibborn Stakes, Rawson Stakes and other racks, and finished second to Patrobas in the V.R.C. Derby. DAB (TV BABBED. NEW YORK, April 26. Received April 26, 3.20 p.m. Governor Cox, of Ohio, has barred Darcy from fighting in that State. Mr Cox issued a statement that he desired’ to follow the example of other States for the reasons that they gave.
