JOURNALISTS’ AWARD. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, April 25. The journalists' award is retrospective to January 1 last. The classification of staffs is fixed at three-fifths senior, one-fifth junior, and the rest generals. Mr Justice Isaacs intimated that with the exception of one or two journals no question had been raised as to ability to bear the payments. THE NEW COMET. SYDNEY, April 25. The Government Astronomer explains that the comet, the appearance of which was cabled on Sunday, is an entirely unexpected visitor. Wolfe s comet is also visible, but only through powerful glasses.
