In the cases against the miners to-day, after a conference between counsel, Mr Singer, representing the accused, asked of an adjournment to enajble him to discuss a certain matter with his clients, Mr Meredith said he had no objection. He stated that he understood the result would probably be a shortening of the* procedings. The Court adjourned till tomorrow.
