ALLEGED THEFT OF £14,000
CHARGE AGAINST GOVERNMENT CLERK. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, April 18. Received April 18, 10.45 p.m. Arthur Leggo, a clerk in the Government Savings Bank, is charged with stealing £14,000 since January. Only £SOO has been recovered. He was remanded, bail being fixed at £IOOO, and one surety of £IOOO.
