French Success in Champagne BRITISH STILL ADVANCING 951st Pay of the War The most interesting news this morning relates to the Mesopotamian campaign. The fail of Baghdad is hourly expected, and the importance of the British advance is increased by the fact that Russia has been able to act in concert, and is striking south from Armenia, as well as clearing the Turks from Persia. The British keep on advancing in the valley of the Ancre, and the French have brilliantly recaptured the Champagne salient which the Germans rushed last month
