(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 9. At the Railway Rolling Stock Commission to-day the Hon. A. M. Myers stated that he intended to recall John Valentine, who thought that he was the officer that was indicated as having supplied tbe information to Mr Wllford, M.P., which led to Mr Wllford making the statements in the House on the subject now being enquired into. Valentine desired to clear up the matter.

Mr J, Dunlop (manager), in making the presentation, referred to the many qualities of the departing member of the staff, as shown during his five and a half years' service, ami hoped he would return in safety to take up his former position. Sir Pritchard, who had previously enlisted and been turned down, was called in the ballot and passed fit by the Medical Board.
