ANZAC PICTURES

To-day and this evening are the last opportunities of seeing the exhibition of Anzac water-colours-—the original Gallipoli work of Sapper Moore-Jones. The public of Invercargill has been unhappily very slow to realise the nature of an exhibition so unique and absorbing in its interest that King George ordered a special exhibit at Buckingham Palace for inspection by the Royal Family. But as the closing night approaches the attendance has greatly increased and to-night the hall will be taxed to its fullest capacity. A feature of the exhibition has been the number of visitors who have repeatedly returned to study the masterly detail of these paintings of Anzac.
