ANZAC WATER COLOURS
LAST DAYS. On Saturday night this exhibition closes and only a short period remains for the citizens of Invercargill to make themselves familiar with the scenery of Anzac and its epic story. To the audiences the exhibition and lecture has been a revelation, and even those who have followed the newspaper history of this campaign most closely have admitted how far short it has fallen of the conception given by this exhibition. The descriptive powers of a lecturer who has first hand knowledge of every detail lie narrates, the splendid technique of the eighty water-colours and drawings shown, and the absorbing historical interest of this great subject, combine to enthral every listener. This Victoria Hall exhibit is one which cannot be missed by anyone—and who has not a friend or relative buried on Gallipoli?
