PORT OF BLUFF. There were no shipping movements at this port yesterday. The Lunedin office of the I luddartParker Company was advised on Wednesday that the steamer Westra'ia has been fixed to leave Melbourne on Saturday, March HI, for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. According to the arrangements just made, the vessel is expected to arrive at Dunedin on Wednesday, April It. and will sail the following day for llliiff and Melbourne. The Weslralia, which is at present undergoing an extensive overhaul at Sydney, will in future be employed in the Melbourne-New Zealand trade.

Mr Bates’ weather summary; Atmospheric pressure is still high and moderate to strong easterly winds have ruled. Fair weather has prevailed, but cloudy and misty in parts, and rain has fallen at Gisborne and a few other places. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly to northerly winds, warm and humid conditions, with fair to cloudy weather generally. The barometer lias a falling tendency everywhere.
