The Polienm is due at Dunedin to-day from Westport and Oama.ru. From here she proceeds to Greymouth to load for Bluff and Punedin The Kahika is loading at Westport for Napier, and will return to Westport to load for Punedin and the Bluff. TRAINING SHIP AMOKL'KA. The Government training ship Airmail ra left Akaroa at 1 1 a.m. yesterday for Port Chalmers. She should reach Port this morning, where she will take in a supply of bunker coal, and then proceed on her cruise to the outlying southern islands in search ol castaways. Mr Bates’ weather summary: Atmospheric pressure has continued above normal, and moderate to strong southerly and south-easterly winds have predominated. The weather has been cool and changeable generally. with occasional showers in the East Coast district. Thunderstorms have occurred in the far north. Present indications arc for moderate to strong south-easterly winds, hacking to northerlies, the barometer falling everywhere shortly; weather unsettled at times in northern and southernmost districts, and increasing haze and cloudiness probable with a change following generally about the middle of the week.
