COLLECTING METHODS.
To the Editor. Sir, —It would be well if some form of organisation was adopted by those having charge of missions in arranging streets for children collecting. Just now children are collecting for one of the missions. On Friday afternoon a lad called and I gave him a coin, but during the next two or three hours three parties of young girls, each having two or three in the party, rang the bell and I told them I had given. During this (Saturday) morning three other Couples called. Interruptions like these cause irritation and, of course, are a waste of power and could be avoided.—l am ,etc., FRIENDLY.
