TIDES.—MARCH 5. Bluff 11.31 a.m. 11.56 p.m. Invercargill .. 12.11 a.m. 12.36 p.m. Riverton .. .. 10.31 a.m. 10.56 p.m. PORT OP BLUFF. There were no shipping movements at this port yesterday. The Kaiapoi left Greymouth on Saturday for Melbourne, where she will load general cargo for Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton. The Bluff dredge, Murlhiku arrived at Port Chalmers on Friday, and will go into dock to-day, when dredge 222 comes out. She was towed as far as the Heads by the tug Theresa Ward, which turned round there and went back to Bluff. The Poherua was due at Oamaru last night from Westport. She is expected to reach Dunedin about Tuesday, and after discharging the balance of her coal cargo will proceed to Greymouth to load for Bluff and Dunedin. The Maori arrived at Lyttelton at 7.50 a.m. on Saturday, and therefore missed connection with the first express. The collier Kahika was loading coal on Saturday at Westport for Napier. After discharge at the Hawke’s Bay port she will go to Westport to load for Dunedin and Bluff. It is understood that negotiations are proceeding with a view to disposing of the s.s. Invercargill to a Wellington firm, but so far the name of the buyer has not been disclosed. Captain Sundstrum is at present visiting W’cllington in connection with the matter. (Australian & N.Z.
