PORT OF BLUFF There were no shipping movements at this port yesterday. The Poherua will ' leave Westport •bout the end of the week for Bluff, Dunedin, and Oamaru. Private advice has been received In Wellington that the well-known Commonwealth and Dominion liner Miciiro has been damaged in a collision in the Downs with the steamer Clermiston, bound from Blyth to Rouen. The Clerxnlston Is a vessel of 1282. tons, built in N 1896, whilst the Mlmlro is of 6225 tons, and Is commanded by Captain Cottell, one of the best known masters in the C. and D. Line. Cable advice received In Wellington •tates that the Roscommon, which left ' the Bluff on the 9th September, arrived •t Liverpool on Wednesday last. An uneventful trip was experienced by the liner Hurunul, which reached Auckland on Sunday last from New York. The vessel ■is in command of Captain A. B.
