WINTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION
The last meeting of directors of the AA'inton A. and I’. Association was attended by the President (Air W. Hairdl, and Messrs P. McKenna, T. Gerrard, Grant, Swale, Tobin, Poole, Egerton, Chrystal, Rowan, John Keith. Fraser, McCallum, Norman, .McKay, C. T. Grant, C. Mcßae, Peirelle, .1. A. Keith, Anderson, Clark, AV. Macintosh, J. 11. Hamilton, AV. Calder, and J. Plunkett. Tlie directors appointed judges for the different classes. Air McKenna gave notice of motion that tlie prize money he increased by £ir>o.
The ■ following were appointed a programme committee: Messrs Anderson, Swale, Mcßae, Egerton, McKenna and Tobin.
Moved by Air Anderson—That a building 70ft by 20ft, he erected on the show ground, to include a produce department, secretary’s office, and a spare room.
Moved by Mr Hamilton as an amendment —That the question he discussed next meeting, seconded hy Mr Plunkett. The amendment was carried.
H was decided that Air Egerton obtain for next meeting an estimate of the cost of the building, the; size given by Mr Anderson.
Sub-committees were appointed to canvass the various districts.
