Flanagan, reported wounded in the eye on July S, left with the 9th Reinforcements, lie is a son of Mrs Margaret and the late Mr Patrick Flanagan, was born at Oreti, and educated at the Oreti school. Prior to enlisting he was employed on his mothers farm. PRIVATE ANGUS CAMERON. Private Angus Cameron, reported wounded on July 12 in the left hip and one of his ribs, is a son of the late Mr Angus and Mrs Mary Cameron. He went to the front with the 9th Reinforcements. He was born and educated at Kdendalo, and followed the occupation of a labourer. PRIVATE J. A. MoBBIDE. Private James Alexander Mcßride, reported Incapacitated owing to a scalp wound on July 7, Is a son of Mrs Alexandra Mcßride, and was born at Queenstown, being educated in the Dominican Convent there. He left New Zealand with the 4th Reinforcements, and was wounded in Gallipoli on August 7 of last year, after which he was sent to England. Hr recovered, rejoined his unit, and now he is again laid aside. His brother Frank left New Zealand with him, both serving in the Otago Infantry Battalion. At the time of his enlisting Private Mcßride was a clerk in the Railway Service. He was a good athlete, having distinguished himself on the football field and the running track. LIEUTENANT O. H, BLACK. A Gisborne telegram states :—Lieut. E. R. Black cables from England that his brother, Lieutenant G. H. Black, was killed on July 1+ whilst assisting the wounded bark. Lieutenant Black was a local sheepfarmor. He was marrie.d to Miss Strand, of Palmerston North, shortly before leaving for the front.
