Received July IS, 12.25 p.m. A forecast of tlie Parliamentary session which opens to-morrow includes a Right to Work Bill, modelled on the British measure, and a Full Citizenship Rights for Women Bill. There will be no Bills authorising referendums at the general election on Legislative Council reform or on the nationalisation of tlie liquor traffic, but Referendums may be authorised by the Executive. Mechanics are objecting to the awards’ rates. PRICES OF COMMODITIES. SYDNEY, July 17. Received July 17, j9.25 p.m. The Commission has. fixed the retail price of kerosene at 5%d per quart; and benzine, at 21/8 per case of eight gallons. LIQUOR PRICES INCREASED. SYDNEY, July IT. Received July IT, 9.25 p.m. The leading city residential hotels have increased the price of liquors. A whisky and soda now costs ninepence, an imported ale eightpence, and an Australian ale sixpence.
