RETURNED SOLDIEES

MEN ON THE ULIMAROA. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, July 16. The Ulimaroa arrived at 3 o'clock with ITS men, 132 of whom are invalids. There are two cot cases, one being that of :i steward named Maguire, belonging to the ship’s company, and the other Ear. rier Allen, of South Canterbury. There are four other lying-down cases, but three of the men can walk, namely, Rilleman Stevens (Australia), Driver (Oamaru), and Private McLeay (Kahikahi, Auckland). Very few men are wounded. Of the Niue Islanders, all are invalids, also nursing sisters Humphries (Napier), Dodds (Dunedin), Mitchell (Wanganui), Tuk (Auckland). The northern men leave h\*the second express to-morrow. The southern men have the option of leaving by the first or the second express.
