Shackleton telegraphs that he is leaving Punta Arenas (Patagonia) on Wednesday to rescue his marooned, colleagues on Elephant Island.. , The British Association and the Magallanes have provided and equipped the Emma, a 70-ton wooden" schooner, which is being towed as far soutli as possible by a steamer which the Chilian Government have lent.
