Tlic usual monthly sale was held yesterday. when about 6500 sheep of all classes were forward. The day was fine and the attendance very large. 'Hie demand all through was good, and one of the lies! sales held at this centre resulted, A large proportion of the yarding comprised wethers for which there was an exceptionally good demand, every pen selling at rates somewhat firmer than those ruling at other yards. A number of pens of tirst-elass hoggets were also forward and sold very well indeed, hut the strongest rise was seen in medium and cull hoggets which were easily up a head from last sale.
