The Cairn Steamship Line has declared a dividend and bonus equivalent to 30 per cent., compared with 10 per cent. in. 1915. The More Line’s dividend was 25 per cent., compared with 12J per cent, in RUS. The profits were £574.248, which exceed the Company’s paid-up capital. The Statist estimates that shipowners’ net gains were 575 per cent, higher than those of 1913 after paying half the surplus to the Treasury.
