The Australian Miners' Association lias decided not to use its own funds for the relief of distress at Broken Hill, as the money is required for court expenses. The collieries at Newcastle have been further stopped owing to the Melbourne lumpers' refusal to work after 5 o’clock, GKELONO WOOLLEN MILLS DESTROYED. MELBOURNE, February 21. Received February 21, 11.20 a.m. The Albion Woollen Mills at Geelong were completely destroyed by lire. Two hundred and eighty hands, employed in j manufacturing khaki, have been thrown out of work.
