PRINCE YUSSUF’S DEATH. LITTLE DOUBT THAT HE WAS MURDERED. DETAILS OF THE CRIME. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright) LONDON', February IS. Received February -0, i>.s p.m. Mr Martin Donohoe, the Chronicle’s correspondent at Athens, .states in regard to Prince Yussufs death that there is little doubt that he was assassinated at the instigation of Enver Bey. The Prince was found in the Palace lying in a corridor between the harem and a bathroom. A vein had been opened in his left arm and he was allowed to bleed to death. The body was covered with bruises and every tiling indicated that there had beet} a desperate struggle for life. He was waylaid in the corridor and cries were heard in the harem. None offered to help. The plans for the assassination were well laid. The Prince was always armed and had a revolver in his bedroom, but failed to take the weapon into the corridor. A passerby heard piteous shouts for help. Marks on the throat showed that the assailants had half choked him to stifle his cries. There was deep enmity between the Prince and Enver Bey. The latter has not scrupled to remove enemies from his path. The climax was reached a few weeks ago when; Prince Yussuf said. Beware, your hour is approaching. Enver Bey never forgave him.
