INFANTILE PARALYSIS
DEATH AT NAPIER. (Per United Press Association.) NAPIER, February 18. A child died of infantile paralysis today. Another case is being treated at the hospital. EPIDEMIC .SPREADING. SIT CASKS IN AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, February 18. Infantile paralysis is still spreading steadily. Nine more cases have been notified to-day. Five were in the city and four in the country. One death was reported. There have now been 217 cases in the province, including fifteen deaths. KING'S COLLEGE CLOSED. AUCKLAND. February IS. Owing to the indisposition of several boarders it has been decided to isolate all boarders at King's College for fourteen days in view of the infantile paralysis epidemic. Day boys will remain away from school for the same period. 7. CASKS AT GISBORNE. GISBORNE, February IS. Up to the present five cases of infantile paralysis have been reported and one death has occurred.
