MISS ROUT'S REPORT. (Per United Press Association.) } CHRISTCHURCH, February 16. ■ In reply to inquiries concerning’ the situation with respect to the Volunteer Sisterhood in Egypt, Miss Rout, the secretary, cables from Cairo as follows: — “Official reports are misleading. Every Volunteer Sister is working desperately hard in the canteens and hospitals. Miss Higgins, the matron, is now engaged by the British Government as cookery instructor for soldiers. Full work is guaranteed for the future.”
