WAR LEVY IN WELLINGTON. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON. February 10. At the Wellington District Conference of the Oddfellows’ Manchester Unity, a sub-committee reported on the question of a war levy. it was decided that a rule be registered giving lodges power to make a levy of Is per member per quarter, the amount to bo paid into a district fund to he known as Expeditionary Members’ Contributions Fund. From it lodges will draw the contributions of all members serving at the front at the close of the war, and the residue will be distributed pro rata amongst the lodges.
