ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE

The first meeting of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was held in the Ambulance Association rooms last evening, a large number of members being present, the ladies predominating in numbers. Mr McManus was elected secretary. A committee consisting of the Superintendent (J. St. McPherson), the secretary, and Messrs I. L. Petrie and A. Washer was appointed to confer with a committee from the St. John Ambulance Association to arrange the working of the two bodies. The matter of having the building painted was held over until next meeting. The following new members were enrolled In the Association: Misses J. Falconer, M. Hawke, C. Walker, H. McLean, L. Taylor, J. Harkness, Paul, Dundas and McDougall.
