TOFUA EXPECTED TO-DAY. CIVIC RECEPTION. /.Per United Press Association.) DUNKDLV, October 25. Tiic troopship Tofua is expected here ut 2 p.m., on Tuesday. She lias six cot oases. 69 hospital cases, and 335 others. The cot cases will bo sent to hospital tomorrow, but the other men will remain on tiie steamer till Wednesday corning, when a civic reception will take place at the Drill Hall, after which those able to travel will leave for their homes, the men going north travelling by the second express. Those for tiie south will leave by special train at 11.30 a.m. THE INVALIDED MEN. COT AND HOSPITAL CASES. ON TOFUA AND WILLOCHKA The local Defence Office has received an additional cablegram regarding the sick and wounded men who are returni ing on board the transports Tofua and Willochra. The chief value of this ‘•check” list is to show the more serious or “cot” cases and the hospital cases. There are six of the former and 70 of the latter on boajsd the Tofua, along with 1 1 convalescent cases, while on the WilJochra there arc 27 of the former, and 129 of the latter. In the case of each vessel those men who are not included in either of these lists will be able to proceed to their homes. It may also be found that by the time the transports arrive proportion of the hospital cases may frave improved sufficiently to allow the men to travel. The new lists are as follow; THE TOFUA.
