POPULAR PICTURE PALACE. "The Daughter of the People," Ihe head-liner at tho Popular this week, was shown to big houses ye.stcrday and it should do the same to-day. The picture is well-supported by several good dramatic, comedy and topical subjects. EVE RY'BODY’S. "Brother Officers” is the principal film at Everybody’s Theatre this change and it has evidently caught the public fancy, judging from tho receptions it receives at each screening. It: will be shown again to-day at the usual hours. THE LYCEUM. The humorous production “Who Goes There" again kept tho audience at the Lyceum in a happy frame of mind. It is a bright comedy with many laughable situations every few minutes. It will lie screened finally to-night. CHARLIE CHAPLIN AT EVERYBODY’S. To-morrow, as announced in a special advertisement in this issue, that prince of picture comedians, Charlie Chaplin, will appear on the screen at Everybody’s Theatre in a new Essanay production, entitled “Work.” This funny little man has been seen in subjects that have fairly convulsed his audiences witli uncontrollable laughter, and in his latest he is said to eclipse his past efforts and is funnier than ever. By appearances “Work” and Charlie never agree, and in this product of his comic genius he sets the audience rocking with mirth at his drollery. This clever comedian is in receipt from tho Essanay Co. of the princely salary of £SOO per week, and in addition a percentage of the sales of all his picture productions, his feet are ’insured for thousands, for these are the means of some of his greatest “stunts.” Altogether Charlie has nothing much 10, complain of while his patrons will wish him a run of good luck for the sake of their own pleasure.
